The 50th Anniversary of Coronation Street is here and now that the tram has made its devastating crash onto the cobbles of the most famous street on television, destroying the new pub and Rita’s Kabin along the way we all need to know who got killed? We will have to wait to see which characters have been culled and who will survive when we get to see the live episode of the nations favourite soap opera.
The live episode goes out on Thursday evening and it every actors worse nightmare can become an instant reality when they fluff their lines in front of literally millions of viewers. Whatever happens during the show it is sure to be one of the most watched programmes on the box with bookmakers Paddypower giving it odds of 4/6 that it will be most watched programme in the history of ITV1.
With so much going on there is a good chance the pressure will get to an action and with only a handful of the stars having previously having the pleasure of doing a live episode of the Street 10 years ago.
