Bishopsfurze odds cut for 2011 Neptune Novices Hurdle

The race may not be taking place until March 2011 as part of the Cheltenham Festival but bookmakers Stan James have already released their ante post odds of this race.

They currently have the Paul Nicholls trained Al Ferof as joint favourite to win the race next year at odds of 10/1, matched by the Willie Mullens trained Zaidpour, if Mullins can win this race it will be the third time that he has claimied this race, winning it with Fiveforthree in 2008 and Mikael d’Haguenet in 2009 both ridden by jockey Ruby Walsh. One horse to look out for is dual bumper winner Bishopsfurze who has moved to 16/1 down from earlier odds of 25/1.

Last years event was won by Peddlers Cross ridden by Jason Maguire and trained by Donald McCain which was first for both trainer and jockey.

The ante post odds for this race have been provided courtesy of Stan James who will pay out on the first 3 horses placed at a 1/4 the odds.
