The French Open is help over two weeks at the end of May at the world famous Stade Roland Garros in Paris. It is the world leading clay court tennis championship and the second of the four the Grand Slam Tournaments, the first being the Australian Open which was held in January and the men’s singles was won by Novak Djokovic who beat Andy Murray by 3 sets. The tournament is the only Grand Slam that is held on a clay court and the event marks the end of the spring clay court season.
The early favorite to win this years title is the winner of last year Rafael Nadal who has been placed at odds of 4/11 by Boylesports to retain his title and claim his 6th victory here. Last year Nadal reclaimed his title from Roger Federer after beating Swedens Robin Soderling in straight sets
