The 2011 Brit Awards are all set to take place from the 02 Arena in London on 15th February 2011 and the ceremony will be hosted by James Corden one of the co-creators of the hit BBC television series Gavin and Stacey. There will be performances on the night from the recently reunited Take That (who are nominated for best British album), Arcade Fire, Cee Lo Green, Mumford and Sons amongst others.
The nominations for all the various categories have been released and one of the biggest is “Best British Album” last year it was won by Florence and the Machine for their album Lungs, in contention to win include The XX who will be hoping to capitalise on winning the 2010 Mercury Music Prize for their album “xx”, the favourites for this years best album however are Mumford and Sons who lost out to the XX in the Mercurys.
