The Abu Dhabi Golf Championship is part of the European tour and it runs from the 20th – 23rd January from the Abu Dhabi Golf Club in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. This is one of three European Tour events that venture into Asia along with the Dubai Desert Classic and the Qatar Masters.
Last years winner Martin Kaymer finds himself the favourite to win this years event and retain his title. If he can do this it will be the German’s third win in this tournament and he will be getting his hands on the lions share of the £2 million prize fund on offer. He will however have his work cut out, as he will be up against the current Masters Champion; Phil Mickelson, Graeme McDowell the US Open Champion and Louis Oosthuizen the 2010 Open Champion winner and that is on top of the world number one golfer Lee Westwood being in the mix!
The odds for the top 10 players are supplied by bookmakers Ladbrokes. On each way bets in this market Ladbrokes will pay out 1/4 the odds on the first 5.
