The 2011 Commercialbank Qatar Masters takes place from the Doha Golf Club in Doha which is in the middle eastern country of Qatar. The event starts on 3rd February through to the 6th and it has a price fund on offer of $2.5 million. The competition has been running since 1998 and is one of the four Persian Gulf based tournaments that are part the European Tour along with the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, the Dubai Desert Classic and the Volvo Golf Championship.
Last years winner the Swede Robert Karlsson is at odds of 12/1 to retain his title with the German golfer Martin Kaymer being the favourite to win this year at odds of 13/2 this is mainly due to his recent win at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship. He is trailed by world number one golfer Lee Westwood who is at odds of 9/1.
